Description

This dataset presents land surface parameters designed explicitly for global kilometer-scale Earth system modeling and has significant implications for enhancing our understanding of water, carbon, and energy cycles in the context of global change.

Specifically, it includes four categories of parameters:

  • LULC: land use and land cover
  • VEGE: vegetation properties
  • SOIL: soil properties
  • TOPO: topography factors

Spatial resolution: 1 km, corresponding to 1/120 degree

Temporal resolution: includes yearly (2001-2020), monthly (2001-2020), and static data for different variables

Total data size: Approximately 420GB

Data format: NetCDF
