Description
Emily Craven has spent the last 20 years finding better ways to use radiation for industrial applications. An engineering physicist and licensed Professional Engineer by training, Emily is a recognized expert in gamma, electron beam and x-ray sterilization. She has been a radiation physicist and a designer of irradiation equipment, run a dosimetry calibration laboratory, worked on applications development, co-chaired workshops and conferences, and authored or co-authored presentations, papers, and book chapters on radiation applications, design, dosimetry, process control and mathematical modeling.
Emily is the AAMI co-chair for the working group on Radiation Sterilization and also represents Canada internationally on the ISO TC198 Sterilization working groups for Radiation and Assurance of Sterility.
