Description
Most of Vlad's research is focused on age-related neurodegenerative disorders and fundamentals of aging and the molecular mechanisms underpinning those phenomena. He considers mass spectrometry-based proteomics as a key tool in his research. The richness of the mass spectrometry data and complexity of the biological systems present challenges and opportunities for data analysis, interpretation, and development of novel computational approaches and software tools.
