Abstract
Alkali addition to a Ag/ZrO2/SBA-16 system for ethanol to butadiene affects a beneficial decrease in Lewis acid sites, mitigating ethanol dehydration. This results in remarkable butadiene selectivity and superior productivity over the lifetime study.
