The Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive HF-X Hybrid Quadrupole-Orbitrap Mass Spectrometer data source system combines a high-resolution, accurate-mass (HRAM) ultra-high-field Orbitrap mass analyzer, high capacity transfer tube with electrodynamic ion funnel, and high performance quadrupole precursor ion selection to deliver unsurpassed speed and sensitivity. The Q Exactive HF-X enables discovery and targeted quantification of proteins using various label-free, SILAC, or isotopically labeled tandem mass tags (TMT) quantitation strategies with parallel reaction monitoring validation. With combined HRAM capabilities and a high-resolution data-independent acquisition (DIA) workflow, excellent peptide quantitation with high reproducibility can be achieved.
