Description

Omics-LHV, MERS

Experiment MHAE002

The purpose of this MERS experiment was to obtain samples for omics analysis in primary human microvascular endothelial cells infected with wild type MERS-coronavirus MERS-CoV (icMERS-CoV, EMC2012).

Overall Design: Human airway epithelial cells were infected in a multiplicity of 5 PFU per cell. Infected samples were collected in quintuplet and time-matched with mocks samples in parallel. Transcriptome and Mass spectrometry sample time points:  0, 12, 24, 36, and 48 hrs post-infection.

MERSCOV004.0P references the write up of the experimental procedure.
