Description
Current methods for product or material input-output inventory data often require significant time and effort from manufacturers to compile. Additionally, without a uniform methodology these can result in inconsistent datasets that are difficult for practitioners to evaluate and compare, even within similar product categories. To address these challenges, PNNL is developing and sharing input-output data inventory templates, also known as life cycle inventory templates, which streamline data collection and reduce the burden of input-output, bill of material, and supply chain inventory on manufacturers. These templates drive innovation and cost savings.
